I know I’m not starting from the very beginning of my travels with this post, but soon I’ll recap my earlier travels and the places I’ve visited! I’m writing this post about my friend Kate and I’s time in Budapest this past Monday (August 17th, 2015), which made news after apparently 1.5 months of rain fell in one night and flooded the entire city – AKA, the only night/day we decided to visit. Kate and I didn’t really know it was that bad until we started seeing news articles the next day, and after I saw video footage of the flooding on Euronews yesterday..
